I’m Rosie, a Master’s qualified counsellor and Level 2 Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association.
I have spent more than 20 years, walking alongside individuals through both challenging and meaningful seasons of life, in a variety of roles. I have supported men and women from all walks of life, worked with adolescents in the justice system and journeyed with families seeking greater understanding and connection.
My approach is warm, steady and person centred. I pay attention to the patterns and relationships that shape our lives. I am practical and solution-focused with the aim of walking alongside you, as you create effective change in your life.
I am passionate about Counselling, because it seeks to create change which empowers us to live effective lives right now, to give strength for the future and draw healing and resilience from the past.
Like many families, my own has faced seasons of challenge. We have navigated chronic illness, grief and loss, neuro-diversity, caring for elderly parents within our home, addiction and mental health challenges.
These personal experiences have deepened my understanding of the complexity, love, strain, grief, humour and resilience present in family life and shape the compassion and respect I bring to my work.
